Journey to Bethlehem

Synopsis:
A young woman carrying an unimaginable responsibility. A young man torn between love and honor. A jealous king who will stop at nothing to keep his crown. My Thoughts:

I truly enjoyed this film and the actors were magnificent not only in speech but in song. Wow! I never knew Antonio Banderas played by King Herod Can sing like that and Mary played by Fiona Palomo left me speechless especially in her vocals with the song "A Savior and King".

Joseph played by Milo Manheim was exceptional in the role not to mention with his powerhouse vocals too.

And of course, Joel Smallbone (Antipater) from the band King and Country always gives it his all.

His performance was stellar! His wife Moriah who plays the role of one of Mary's sisters and as well as the other sister played by Stephanie Gil lit up the scenes too. Lecrae, did a fantastic job portraying The Ángel Gabriel.

I also can't forget about the 3 Wisemen, they were hilarious and made the film truly special. The scene of the birth of Jesus at the end of the film was so beautiful and powerful. I loved it!!

I can't wait for the DVD, I will definitely be rewatching this wonderful musical with my family for many more Christmases to come including the playlist of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
