DCWV Rose Quartz Paper Stack Card Projects With a Tuesday Morning Mini Haul

Blessings Everyone,
This weekend I took advantage of the Tuesday Morning 20 percent off store wide sale and managed to pick up a few items I thought I could really use in my card making business.
My nearest store does not always have a lot of craft items like the ones I have seen on Youtube but this Sunday after church service I scored these at great prices. Everything I bought was 20% off the sticker price shown so I had a very huge smile. LOL

The first Item I purchased was this 12 x 12 double sided American Crafts Paper premium stack cardstock with rose gold foil from DCWV in Rose Quartz. The papers are beautiful and it comes with rose gold foiled tags and a new word I learned " Cut Aparts. I was asking myself what the sheet of big words were lol then Youtube gave me the answer.

The Solid Rose Gold Foil Paper

Below are some ideas using this fantastic paper pad that can be used for anniversaries, weddings, birthdays and graduations and just because cards.

For this A2 sized card, I used the floral foiled paper to cover the entire front of the card base, I used a scalloped die cut for the Cut Apart and then adhered the frame with tape then affixed foam squares to place the Cut Apart in the center of the frame giving it dimension.

Peek a Boo Side Card

For the second card shown, I used 3 paper designs from the pad and a sizzix oval die cut. I made a peek a boo side card by showing a strip of the rose gold foiled paper. The A2 card was scored at 5 1/2 to get the side exposed then I adhered the paper. The card front measures at 4 x 5 1/2. I took a piece of the floral paper and used an oval die and put foam squares on the die cut and affixed it to the center of the card. Then I used the other design with wording and cut some strips and stamped the word Happy Birthday.

Here's another version but with a different Cut Apart on foam squares and a smaller sentiment with the word Happy Birthday staled on it. On this card, you can see the side revealed more clearly showing the fabulous foil.

Peek a Boo Half Oval Card
This rose gold foil is so beautiful that I did not want to waste it so from the die cut, I trimmed the other half of the oval and adhered it to the card base after using another patterned paper on the bottom. Then, I took that same pattern and made a sentiment by stamping a bigger Happy Birthday stamp on it.

Here are the papers I used for these cards. Trust me they are gorgeous in person.

As for the mini haul, I bought some Mont Marte water brushes, a Jane Davenport watercolor palette and some Cutter Bee scissors that are great for fussy cutting!

I hope you got inspired by today's post and remember if you don't have this paper pad you can still achieve the same sketches for your A2 size cards with different patterned paper pads.
