It finally happened! Our family was able to take a vacation and although it only lasted 5 days, oh so much fun was involved besides the first day of jet lag.
We stayed in a Disneyland resort called The Grand Californian Hotel and Spa and got a good deal throughout Expedia.com.
This was the van we paid for to take us on a 45-minute drive to this fabulous and luxurious resort. It’s a vacation, right? So my wonderful hubby went all out for his loved ones.
The lobby area was huge, fancy, and comfortable. The only drawback, we had to wear masks indoors.
Nick our bellhop was super cool and helpful in taking our bags until our room was ready.
I never stayed at a Disney resort so I was very excited and it was just a great experience from the staff to the rooms. Since we were staying 4 nights I asked for more towels and toiletries and they obliged without hesitation. This was our room with a balcony on the fifth floor.
This place has beautiful pools and 2 jacuzzis that I was able to relax my body in. The kids loved the slides too.
Those lounge chairs were soft and cushiony like a sofa.
