Catch The Wave Maker With Deva Curl

Press SampleProduct given for testing and review purposes.

I belong to a going gray group on FB where many beautifully curly haired women have used the Deva Curl System. I was very curious to what that was and even asked but unfortunately did not get an answer.
So, I googled Deva Curl and my jaw dropped at such an extensive line they carry for curly haired and wavy haired girls like me. I was very excited to try it for the first time and I also noticed specific salons that specialize in Deva cuts meaning the salon artist will cut your hair to maximize your waves or curls so the style won’t look weighed down.

Have I peeked your interest?  I hope so because Deva Curl was generous enough to send me samples to test out on my waves. I prefer to air dry my hair and prefer to let it go wild and wavy with volume instead of straightening. Curling my hair and straightening my hair come in phases for me but my waves have been taking center stage especially since my chin length WOB. (A Wavy Bob)
Deva Curl hooked it up with full size products that are 100 % Sulfate, Paraben and Silicone Free and made for me.

The products I received are as follows:
The Low-Poo Delight such a confusing name especially with the word Poo. LOL But it's short for shampoo but you are not shampooing with the traditional lather, it's milder. It's slicker and smoother and weightless and it feels great on my hair not to mention the wonderful scent it has.
The second is, it's bestie which is the One Condition Delight. This conditioner smells amazing and really moisturizes the hair with out weighing it down.
The third companion, is new to the line and it's called Deva Curl Wave maker. A touchable texture whip infused with moringa seed and passion flower extract to define waves and leave them frizz -free.

I recently went on a weekend getaway and took all three with me to try out. Here are my experiences, expressions and my results.

After I washed and conditioned, I wrapped my hair in a microfiber towel and got ready. I then scrunched my hair with the same micro fiber towel.

So far I was pleased. Next was to try the Wave Maker and yes I was skeptical.

After I ran it through my hair and a little was all I needed, I used the towel again to scrunch up.

Ready for the results? Here's one side done! I totally the saw the difference.

Wait theres more! LOL

And more!

Tada! Loved it
Hello Defined Waves! Watch what happened when It completely air dried.

Ooh, I want to be a spokesperson for this fabulous product! Hahaha
After I came back to the hotel an hour later I couldn't stop touching my hair. It felt so soft, so touchable, so weightless. I even took more selfies but this time to show love for it on social media and how it left my hair.

After trying this line I don't ever want to use regular shampoo again if I don't have to. This was truly a wonderful experience and it left my hair looking better than ever. After my product runs out I will be purchasing more.
You can find these products or the ones that will be suited for your hair type on www.devacurl.com or at Ulta, Sephora, and Sally Beauty Supply.

Thank you Deva Curl! My hair has been changed!

  1. Wow! My hair is exactly like yours. Did you direct your hair at all? Or just let it dry however it wanted?
